Roman holiday in october

I woke up well before the sunrise every single day—not just because of jet lag, but also because I truly wanted to explore the city in its quietest moments. I longed to absorb its unique vibe and rich history while the streets were still calm and before the hustle and bustle of daily life began.

In Rome, I truly felt a profound sense of my own smallness, realizing that the city is vastly larger and more enduring than any individual life. The immense scale and grandeur are made even more impressive by its incredibly long and rich history, which stretches back thousands of years.
